The Palais des Congrès de Paris is a vast complex of buildings located near Porte Maillot, in the 17th arrondissement. In its many halls, meeting rooms, conference rooms and amphitheatres, it hosts trade shows, meetings, conferences and various events every year.
For the Parisian public at large, it is best known for its vast 3,700-seat amphitheatre, which offers a varied cultural programme, with a large proportion devoted to musical events: concerts, film-concerts, musicals, operas and international ballets. The Palais des Congrès is also home to a shopping mall with some forty high-end boutiques, as well as the 12-screen UGC Maillot cinema.
